he wrote the songs way back in 2001-2004 while he was touring with Avril

Here is the long lost first album that I recorded for Warner Brothers Records back in 2005. I wrote many of these songs during my time touring with Avril in 2001-2004 and the rest after signing to Warner in late 2004. Warner and I decided on Howard Benson to produce the album and it was recorded in late 2005 with a scheduled release of early 2006. After some mild turmoil at the label internally and some creative differences between then and myself, we eventually mutually decided to put this album on hold and I ended up writing a whole new album that I recorded with John Fields (which eventually came out as “Welcome To The Blacklist Club”). The first album, produced by Howard Benson and tentatively titled “just sign here…” was never released (however “goodbye” was on the ill fated CW show The Mountain) yet I’m still very proud of what we did and how it turned out. It was a long and challenging record making process and there’s a lot of blood on the tracks(some of which is documented variously throughout youtube but…now 8 years later, I can say that I had a great time making this album and hope you enjoy what almost was my first release!
